- Provides direct supervision of all pool staff.
- Assists Parks and Rec director with lifeguard training and ongoing in-service training.
- Create weekly schedules with the appropriate number of staff for daily supervision.
- Demonstrates lifeguarding skills and knowledge to the rest of the pool staff.
- Reacts professionally and immediately to emergency situations and administers proper care. Also lead the staff in emergencies.
- Always enforces pool rules and policies
- Leads staff in daily maintenance of the pool, including trash, bathrooms, and concessions to provide a clean and safe facilities.
- Attend staff meetings and in season trainings.
- Makes recommendations to Parks Director for changes or improvements on operations, training, staffing, and policies and procedures.
- Works well with all pool staff.
- Ability to work varied shifts and special occasions.
- Must at least be 21 years of age.
- Must be available to work 36-40 hours a week during the summer season.
- Previous leadership and lifeguard experience preferred.
- CPR and/or lifeguard certification preferred.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively to guide staff in any emergency.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of CPR, Rescue breathing, First Aid and all other emergency care treatments.
- Ability to work as a leader for other pool staff and for daily operations to be completed.
- Ability to organize and keep track of weekly schedule for lifeguards, pool attendants, and concession workers.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Lifeguard/Manager: 1 year (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
